Dear participants* of the Spring School 2020,

We are pleased to inform you that thanks to our speakers the Spring School can take place this year. This year there will be two exceptions: the Spring School will come in a shortened form and it will take place in Berlin.

Welcome to the website of the DNVF-Spring-School 2020, where you will find more information about the concept, the seminar options, the registration and the participation fees, the speakers and the evening lectures.

Concept and introduction of the Spring-School 2020

The Spring-School offers a wide range of courses, both thematically and in terms of methodical "depth". Students or graduates from the fields of social sciences, psychology and medicine, nursing sciences, health sciences or similar, can participate. Equally welcome are representatives of professional groups from the medical field, the health industry, health policy, research funding agencies or reimbursement companies.

The eighth DNVF Spring School will start on the first day, October 7, 2020, with the module "Introduction to Health Services Research and Methodological Foundations" as has become a tradition, because of the shortened version of the Spring School this year. There will be 14 parallel modules in the difficulty levels basic and advanced available.

With the help of this differentiation, you can orientate yourself to what extent previous knowledge and experiences are required. The range of programs extends from patient-reported outcomes to complex interventions and data protection in health services research. We are also pleased to offer a new module. Dr. Niemeyer (TMF) will hold an advanced seminar on registries together with Mrs. Beckedorf (TMF). This seminar builds on the basic seminar "Definition and Planning of Registers" which has already been successfully held for several years. The new format offers more in-depth content.

With our seminars, we aim to lay the foundation for high-quality health care research and hope that our programme of established and new modules will appeal to you.

Lecture evening

An important goal of the DNVF-Spring-School is the opportunity for exchange, getting to know each other and discussion. Ample breaks during the individual modules allow for interaction; as well as the evening lecture, which will take place on Wednesday, 07.10.2020. All speakers, lecturers and participants are cordially invited to the get-together after the lecture.
Dr. Roland Leuschner (BKK Dachverband e.V., Berlin) will give the lecture on the evening. Further information on the lecture will follow shortly.

The certification is applied for at the Berlin Medical Association.
